About Me

When I was six years old, I saw Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. From that moment on I knew I wanted to be a film maker.  During the years that followed I developed my skills as a artist and a film maker. By the time I was 18, having graduated from Cleveland High School, it was time for me to take the next step into college.  Loving the sense of adventure,  I was off to study Advanced 3-D animation at Lifeway College in New Zealand.

austindaniel New Zealand was full of artistic inspiration.  Their many beaches inspired me to compose a pirate opera, The Dead Man's Tale, and their magnificent skies and sunsets lead me to compose yet another opera, Wrath Of The Storm.

In December of 2007 I graduated at the top of my class with a diploma in Advanced 3D animation.  My final project, an animated short film The Missing Sock was submitted in the 2008 Hamburg Animation Film Festival.  I was fortunate enough to have won the New Zealand prize and was flown to Germany to receive my award.  It was an amazing experience and it was definitely something I won't forget.   I was offered a job in New Zealand at Huhu Animation Studios, but my heart was leading me back home to the Pacific Northwest.

I'm now living in my hometown of Portland Oregon, working on my art,  making films and continuing with my education.   I'm a 3D generalist, a conceptual artist, a character designer, an actor, a director, a film maker, a sculptor, and a music composer.  My childhood dream of becoming a film maker continues to unfold.  With every new step comes a new adventure.  I look forward to future adventures and all that they hold for me!
